Pregnancy Belly Henna in Casablanca
Belly henna is an ancient tradition: a gentle, natural keepsake before birth, to celebrate the mother and her baby and bring good luck for the journey ahead. At Sun Henna we draw it at our Casablanca studio, at 52 Boulevard Zerktouni, or for your event.
It is traditionally done in the 7th month. Most clients book between 28 and 36 weeks, when the belly is round and photographs beautifully. It is perfect for maternity photoshoots, baby showers, blessing ceremonies, gender reveals or a private ritual, and partners, children or close family are welcome to join.
We use natural henna only, with no unsafe additives, and for pregnant clients we leave the essential oils out of the paste. We always do a small patch test, and if you have any doubt, ask your doctor or midwife first. Popular designs include mandalas, florals, moon and stars, lotus flowers, the baby's name or the due date.
