A week before Eclipse Festival in Quebec, Becca came by because she wanted a rather significant back henna tattoo to show off during the 3-day outdoor event. So having known Becca a bit, I knew she was into everything flowery, leafy, dotty, and mushroomy.
I started by dividing her back into 2 halves, with a helix vine going up the middle of her back. Atop this vine, I drew an Aries sign, symbol of the Ram.
Then I was set off to draw a lotus flower in the lowest part of her back.
The lotus got bigger leaves.
