There are many ways to mix henna powder into paste. This is a simple way to mix a large batch of henna. The bowl must be of non-metallic material, wood, plastic, ceramic works well. First I start with a batch of fresh henna powder. (here, 400g) Then I add about 800 ml of lemon juice-tamarind mix into the henna powder. The rule of thumb is about 400 ml per each 100 g of henna powder. You can see the henna powder starting to mix into the juice. Add another 700 ml of lemon juice-tamarind and mix using a non-metallic spoon. Mix thoroughly until the henna powder has absorbed into the liquid. Keep mixing until the paste doesn't present any clumps. Then mix it some more. Finally add the last 100 ml of juice into the mixed paste. Once it reaches a smooth consistency, cover and let sit overnight (~12 hours) The next morning, mix some more and add 2 droppers-full (6 ml of Euco oil) Continue mixing some more. Crush all the clumps of unmixed paste there might be. Add one last dropped full (3 ml) of Eucalyptus oil into the mixture. Mix a bit more and it's done! The test of consistency should be when you lift the spoon, the paste gently and consistently rolls down into the bowl. You
